Jeppesen Newbury employees brighten the holidays for local children in need

For the second Christmas in a row, the Jeppesen team from our Newbury, UK office collected toys for the West Berkshire Toy Appeal – a local charity, now in its seventh successful year, set up to help less fortunate families provide presents for their children at Christmas.

The team attached gift tags to the office Christmas tree with the age/gender of a child written on them. Then, employees selected a gift tag and bought presents corresponding with the tags. There was a great response and the Christmas tree looked amazing with all the presents underneath.

Jeppesen also kindly donated £200.00. In lieu of inter-office Christmas cards this year, employees were asked to donate the money to the charity and write their Christmas message on a giant card, which was pinned to the notice board.

A very popular Chocoholics party was held in the Jeppesen office in November (Who doesn’t like chocolate?). All of the money raised from the chocoloate fundraiser was used to buy more toys for the charity.
