Jeppesen UK supports St. Catherine’s Hospice
Jeppesen has offices on almost every continent in the world. Our global employees work in neighborhoods, business parks, cities, air parks, universities and defense locations from Denver to Dubai, and from Seattle to Singapore. We appreciate that our quest to radically transform global transportation through information and integration certainly has an impact on the individual communities where we live and work. So it is essential that the sum total of our actions demonstrate our values and tell the story of Jeppesen to the world around us.
Our employees demonstrate those values every day when they work—and play— as volunteers, contribute to worthy causes and support education and the environment. Everyone WINS! The Jeppesen locations in the United Kingdom have a special passion for serving a very deserving local organization—St. Catherine’s Hospice.
The hospice provides end of life support in Mid Sussex, Crawley, Horsham and East Surrey, and are reliant on the support of companies and individuals to provide services. This is the second year Jeppesen UK has supported this charity, raising nearly £5,000 for the Hospice.
Employees from Jeppesen UK, along with Boeing Flight Services and Boeing UK, sponsored the Dragon Boat Festival, whose goal was to raise £50,000. The team of 16 from Jeppesen, along with 30 other companies from across the county, participated in a series of 500 meter races in Chinese Dragon Boats. The “Jeppesen / Boeing Flyers” finished a very creditable 16 out of 30.
