Montreal team plays tug-of-war with Air Canada Boeing 767
Jeppesen employees really do enjoy playing tug-of-war with jumbo jets. The Denver office pulled a Boeing 757 in August and now the Montreal team took on a 767. While pulling airplanes is an unusual way to have fun, the real purpose of this show of strength is to benefit Special Olympics.
Organized by members of law enforcement, 15 member teams compete by pulling the plane 3.5 meters in the fastest time. Our team pulled the Air Canada in just 7.5 seconds. In another part of the competition, four employees placed second in the lightest total weight category. The total team weight was 684 pounds.
