ASIA, AUSTRALASIA

 CHINA

 ZSPD / Shanghai Pudong – Effective August 2016, BA/GA aircraft are limited to 48 hour maximum stay.  There are 20 parking stands – 8 for aircraft with maximum wingspan of 24 meters, and 12 stands for aircraft with maximum wingspan of 31 meters. All stands are taxi-in, push-back out. Parking permission must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.

 VHHH / Hong Kong – GA/BA operators are advised to avoid operating within the Night Period 1400-2259Z (2200-0659L), however 5 slots are available for Annex 4 aircraft starting 0200Z September 12, 2016 for a trial period.

The new GA/BA slot and parking application procedures are effective September 26, 2016. The Airport Authority will issue new login details to registered users. Please refer to Schedule Coordination Guidelines at: http://www.hkgslot.gov.hk/Useful_Info.html.
The new procedures will require a runway slot be issued prior to requesting a parking slot. Both can be applied for 14 days in advance. 

 MALAYSIA

 WMKK, WMSA / Kuala Lumpur - The 2016 Malaysian Formula 1 Grand Prix will take place in Kuala Lumpur on September 30 - October 02, 2016. One should consult with the local handlers to ensure aircraft parking is available due to this event and monitor airport NOTAMS.

 SINGAPORE / MALAYSIA

NORTH AMERICA and CARIBBEAN

 CANADA

 Thanksgiving Day Holiday celebrated on October 10, 2016 and consult with CANPASS for their operational hours on this date. Also note that government offices, banks and some businesses will be closed on this day as well.

 New requirement for business travelers to enter Canada, which does exempt US citizens.

New entry requirement now in effect

Visa-exempt foreign nationals are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens, and travelers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents cannot apply for an eTA.

 

MEXICO

Daylight savings time will take place in most of the Mexican States on October 31, 2016 and the remaining States will change on November 06, 2016.

 Mexico Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) will start to accept the Multi Entry Authorization (MEA) filing program for 2017 in mid-October for those interested in filing such a request. Contact Jeppesen ITP if interested which will allow one to start the process before hand and customers can count on having their authorization at the beginning of 2017. 

 U.S.A.

Columbus Day Holiday celebrated on October 10 and U.S. CBP hours should be confirmed for this day. Also note that government offices, banks and some business will be closed on this day as well

 The 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix will take place on October 21 – 23 in Austin, TX and airports in the area are KAUS, KEDC and KSAT.

 The NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition will take place on November 01 – 03, 2016 in Orlando, FL and airports in the area are KMCO, KORL, KSFB and KISM.

 

CARIBBEAN

 BAHAMAS

 MYGF / Grand Bahama Intl - Runway 06/24 closed until October 31, 2016 from 0200Z – 1000Z daily per NOTAM.

 BERMUDA

 TXKF / Bermuda - Airport has restricted night time aircraft refueling on Apron 4 (Handler location) through November 30, 2016 (except for Search and Rescue and MEDEVAC flights) per NOTAM.

 DOMINICA

 TDPD / Douglas Charles Intl - Airport apron space is limited with a possibility of aircraft delays through 08 November, 2016 due to work in progress. All aircraft are advised to adhere to all ATC instructions per NOTAM.

RUSSIA

 URSS / Sochi - International Investment Forum  September 29 – October 02, 2016.

 Restrictions for Sochi Airport (URSS) have now been published for the above event, operators should expect heavy restrictions to be in force at Sochi Airport during this time.

During these dates Sochi Airport will only be available for arrival and departure of the following flights:

 1. Due to international investment forum, Sochi-2016, parking of aircraft carrying out special or charter flights including business aviation flights are restricted to 2 hours, with exception of aircraft carrying heads of state and official delegations on board.

 2. Aircraft operators planning to carry out special or charter flights to Sochi Aerodrome during the indicated period must obtain time slot from Aerodrome administration before flight plan submission.

 3. New time slot must be obtained from Sochi Aerodrome administration before submission of flight plan in case of: change of arrival/departure time by 30 min or more, departure delay (DLA), change of flight plan (CHG).

 UUEE / Moscow Sheremetyevo - Daily 1930-0400Z 06L/24R Closed for maintenance.

 AFRICA

 GHANA

 DGAA / Accra - Due to major construction works, Aircraft stands are only available to Aircraft performing quick turnaround or short stops. Aircraft planning to stay for greater than three days, must first gain permission for the Airport Director. This restriction will remain in force until December 31, 2016.

 EGYPT

 HECA / Cairo - Every Monday between 0900-1100Z, Runway 05R/23L will be closed for maintenance. This closure is in force UFN.

 

 EASTERN EUROPE AND TURKEY

 UCFM / Bishkek - Runway closures in force Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1400Z-2100Z, until October 28, 2016. Check NOTAMS for any updates.

 GENERAL RESTRICTIONS/REGULATIONS

 FAA/EASA advisories and restrictions remain in place for operations into, out of, and over the following countries and their associated FIRs.

 UKRAINE, SOMALIA, MALI, ETHIOPIA, SOUTH SUDAN, EGYPT, LIBYA

 Full and up to date information on all of the above can be found on the FAA website, prohibitions restrictions and notices page, the CFMU Network Operations Portal, or in the relevant NOTAMS.

 

EUROPE

 UNITED KINGDOM

EGGW / London Luton - (very advanced notice) - Aerodrome closed to ALL traffic 0001Z-0530Z every Sunday and Monday from November 13-21, 2016 as per NOTAM:

FINLAND

The Finnish Border Guard will require API data for all arriving and departing Non-Schengen GA passenger flights starting September 01, 2016. The local handler can provide this service if given the proper details in advance. You can also contact the Finnish Border Guard at api.info@raja.fi for more information.

If you wish to submit API data directly you can do so using the following email address: pre@raja.fi
Potential financial penalties to be imposed when API information is not provided. This is already required for airline carrier flights.
API data is required only for flights with passengers on board. Ferry/positioning flights (crew only) do not require API info. This may change in the future, but at the moment only passenger data is required.
API data is required only for those passenger flights conducting a flight between a Non- Schengen Member State and a Schengen Member State. API data is not required when passengers are not subject to Schengen Area immigration clearance.

Example: KJFK-EFHK-VHHH: API data not required (only tech stop at EFHK)

When EFHK is the entry or exit point to/from Schengen Area, passport control will take place in Helsinki during the fuel stop. API data is required in this case. If both origin and destination are Non-Schengen Member States, API data is not required.

Examples:

VHHH-EFHK-EGGW: API data not required (Tech stop at EFHK)

VHHH-EFHK-LFPB: API data required (Entry passport control at EFHK during tech stop)

LFPB-EFHK-VHHH: API data required (Exit passport control at EFHK during tech stop)

 OJAI / Queen Alia International - OJAI closed from October 01-29, 2016 each day as follows. The runway will be closed Every SAT, TUE & THU between 0000Z & 0200Z for rubber removal.
