ASIA, AUSTRALASIA

CHINA

ZSSS / Shanghai Hongqiao, ZSPD / Shanghai Pudong – No business jets are permitted 30 August – 06 September unless they carry participants in the G20 Summit.

 ZSPD / Shanghai Pudong – Effective August 2016, BA/GA aircraft are limited to 48 hour maximum stay.  There are 20 parking stands – 8 for aircraft with maximum wingspan of 24 meters, and 12 stands for aircraft with maximum wingspan of 31 meters. All stands are taxi-in, push-back out. Parking permission must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.

ZYCC / Changchun – No overnight parking for BA aircraft 16 June – 15 September 2016 due to summer congestion.

VMMC / Macau - Zika Virus Disease Outbreak has prompted the following directives from the Macau International Airport & Macau SAR Health Bureau. All aircraft operators which have been in Zika-affected areas are requested to have a complete disinfection of their respective aircraft cabins and cargo compartments.

Upon arrival in VMMC, cabin crews are required to submit the following items below:

(1) A duly completed General Declaration form; and
(2) A copy of the valid certificate of residual insecticides; or
(3) Exhausted aerosol cans remained after disinfection of the aircraft.

Handler can assist to collect these requirements. Please be noted that disinfection treatment should be found unacceptable by the Macau Health Bureau during their inspection, they can request the local ground handling agent (MBAC) to perform immediate disinfection in the passenger cabin and/or cargo holds. The costs per disinfection service are as follows:

MTOW up to 80T: USD $100 per cabin or cargo compartment
MTOW above to 80T: USD $200 per cabin or cargo compartment

 

AUSTRALIA

AUSTRALIA - CAAC requires a new form for requesting permits for Non-Scheduled Flights operating in Australia. Crew members’ licenses are also required with any permit request.

PACIFIC

 PTPN / Pohnpei - The Pacific Islands Forum will be held on Pohnpei 07-12 September 2016 and the airport ramps will be saturated with visiting aircraft. Please check with handlers before scheduling any trips not related to the Forum.

MROC / San Jose - Runway 07/25 closed on 15 September from 0600- 1000Z per NOTAM.

CANADA
 

Labor Day Holiday celebrated on 05 September 2016. Consult with CANPASS for their operational hours on this date.

New requirement for business travelers to enter Canada, which does exempt US citizens.

New entry requirement now in effect

Visa-exempt foreign nationals are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or   transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens, and travelers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents cannot apply for an eTA.

Note: Until 29 September 2016, travelers who do not have an eTA can board their flight, as long as they have appropriate travel documents, such as a valid passport. During this leniency period, border services officers can let travelers arriving without an eTA into the country, as long as they meet the other requirements to enter Canada. MEXICO

Independence Day Holiday celebrated on 16 September 2016.  DGAC and other Government offices to include banks and some business will also be closed on this day.

U.S.A.

Labor Day Holiday celebrated on 05 September 2016 and U.S. CBP hours should be confirmed for this day.

U.S. Open (Tennis) taking place through 11 September in Flushing, New York. Airports in the area are KJFK, KLGA, KTEB and KTEB.

BAHAMAS

MYGF / Grand Bahama International - Runway 06/24 closed until 31 October from 0200-1000Z daily per NOTAM.

BERMUDA

TXKF / Wade International - Airport has restricted night time aircraft refueling on Apron 4 (Handler location) through 30 November (except for Search and Rescue and MEDEVAC flights) per NOTAM.

CURACAO

TNCC / Hato International - RWY 11/29 closed on 01 September – 30 December on Monday - Friday from 0400-1100Z per NOTAM.

DOMINICA

TDPD / Douglas Charles - Airport operational hours are now 1000-0000Z daily through 30 September2016 per NOTAM.

TDPD / Douglas Charles - Airport apron space is limited with a possibility of aircraft delays through 08 November 2016 due to work in progress. All aircraft are advised to adhere to all ATC instructions per NOTAM.

GUADELOUPE

TFFR/ Le Raizet - Runway 12/30 closed on 20-21 September from 1000 – 1600Z daily per NOTAM.

PUERTO RICO

TJBQ /   / Rafaelo Hernandez - Runway 08/26 closed on August 31 and September 1 from 1700- 2200Z daily per NOTAM.

TJBQ / Rafaelo Hernandez - Runway 08/26 closed on 02 September from 1700- 1900Z per NOTAM.

TRINIDAD and TOBAGO

TTCP/ Robinson International - Runway 11/29 closed from 02-04 September from 0530- 0930Z daily per NOTAM.

RUSSIA

UUWW / Moscow Vnukovo - From the 08–10 September Vnukovo Airport will be hosting the 11th annual Jetexpo International Business Aviation show.

During this time operators can expect busier than normal General and Business Aviation movements. As such services through Vnukovo and especially Terminal 3 will be at a premium.
