ZBTJ / Tianjin – Parking restrictions have been lifted and parking for more than 3 days is available.
ZLDH / Dunhuang – There is a new terminal at this airport with a plan to accommodate international flights in the near future. CIQ is not currently on site and will be sent from ZLLL.
ZSAM / Xiamen – Airport will be closed 1610-2210Z 01 March – 30 June 2017 for runway maintenance.
BA/GA flights are not allowed take-offs or landings 2300-0100Z.
ZSPD / Shanghai Pudong – All international flight passengers and crews will clear CIQ inbound/outbound at Terminal1. The VIP room will only be used for domestic flights.
A visa-free 24 hour transit can be arranged for foreign crews, except US citizens. The crew must remain in an isolated area determined by the duty immigration officer.
ZSSS / Shanghai Hongqiao – No BA/GA flights allowed 0001-0559L due curfew, and no BA/GA flights allowed 0700-2159L daily due to flight congestion. Applications will only be considered for 0600-0659L and 2200-2400L.
ZSYN / Yancheng – Airport is open to foreign registered aircraft. Permits can be processed through normal channel. Airport ops hours: 0800-2100L.
ZBAA / Beijing - One Belt And One Road (B&R) Forum will be held in Beijing on 14 - 15 May, 2017. From 11May till 17May, CAA China will not accept business/private jet applications to Beijing, except for aircrafts attending B&R Forum, government flights or medical flights.
Aircrafts attending B&R Forum shall provide sponsor letters issued by the organizing committee and state BRF in the REMARK item of applications.
CAA China Labor Day Holiday closure 29 April-01 May 2017, all the landing and overflying applications will not be processed during this period except ambulance flight etc. Please make all necessary arrangement in advance.
MSLP / San Salvador - Runway 07/25 closed from 04 - 06 May from 0430 – 0930Z per NOTAM.
MGGT / Guatemala City– Runway 02/20 closed from 0300 – 2359Z from on 22 May – 22 August per NOTAM.

NORTH AMERICA and CARIBBEA
CYYZ / Toronto - The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) announced on 26 March, 2017 that ALL general aviation operators which operate during the normal hours of 0630 - 0029L will be required to obtain arrival and departure slots at least 48 hours before their planned operations. Such approval must be obtained from the GTAA at 416-776-3480 or 800-267-7568. Slots are on a first come, first served basis and reservation numbers will be provided. The new ARO requirement will not affect the already established Night Flight Restricted Program during hours 0030 - 0629L.
New requirement for business travelers to enter Canada, which does exempt US citizens.

Crew entry requirement now in effect
Visa-exempt foreign nationals are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens, and travelers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents cannot apply for an eTA.
Victoria Day Holiday will be celebrated nationwide in Canada on Monday May 22 except for in NB, NS and PEI. Consult the CANPASS hours for this day which is a Monday.
Aircraft operators are reminded to always have the proper multiple entry authorization or applying permits along with the mandatory updated aircraft documents on board the plane for the Mexican Authorities are randomly checking such documents at different airports.
The Mexican DGAC has prohibited individuals from carrying the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Phones on board of any aircraft due to the risk of explosions without any notice.
MMLO / De Guanajuato Intl – Runway 13/31 will be closed in May from 0430– 0459Z and 0901– 1100Z daily except on 13, 14, 27 and 28 May per NOTAM.
May Day (or Labor Day) will be celebrated on Monday 01 May 2017 and the main DGAC/Government offices, banks and some businesses will be closed. Plan accordingly and consult the local handlers if assistance is needed.
Cinco de Mayo will be celebrated in Mexico on Friday 05 May 2017 and with this national holiday, will come the closure of DGAC as well as banks and some businesses.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced a ban on carrying most electronic equipment in carry-on luggage on direct U.S. bound commercial airline flights from the following 10 airports - Amman, Jordan (OJAI/AMM); Kuwait City, Kuwait (OKBK/KWI); Cairo, Egypt (HECA/CAI); Istanbul, Turkey (LTBA/IST); Jeddah (OEJN/JED) and Riyadh (OERK/RUH), Saudi Arabia; Casablanca, Morocco (GMMN/CMN); Doha, Qatar (OTHH/DOH); and Dubai (OMDB/DXB) and Abu Dhabi (OMAA/AUH), UAE. The ban applies to electronic devices other than cellular phones and medical equipment; devices such as laptops and iPads must be stored in checked luggage. The ban reportedly went into effect on 21 March and U.S. authorities stated that they imposed the ban due to intelligence regarding threats of terrorist attacks on aircraft. This currently does not affect General Aviation flights. More information can be found at –

Memorial Day Holiday will be celebrated in the U.S. on Monday 29 May 2017 and consult Customs (CBP) hours of operation on this day.
The Kentucky Derby will take place at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY on Saturday 06 May 2017 and airports in the area are KSDF and KLOU. Consult with the local FBO's for aircraft parking, hotel rooms and
rental cars may become an issue. Check the airport NOTAMS for the FAA may issue a Special Air Traffic Management Program for this event.
The 101st Indianapolis 500 will take place on Sunday 28 May 2017 in Indianapolis, IN and airports in the area are KIND and KMQJ. Consult the local FBO’s and NOTAMS for GA traffic will increase from the Friday prior to the Monday after this event.

MYEM / Governors Harbour– No Jet-A1 and Avgas available through 31 July 2017 per NOTAM.
TXKF / LF Wade Intl – PPR required for ALL military aircraft except for essential military missions from 26 May – 27 June 2017. This due to limited apron parking per NOTAM.
The 35th America’s Cup yacht race event location will be Hamilton, Bermuda and will run from 26 May – 27 June 2017. The airport in the area is TXKF and consult with the local handler for aircraft activity will increase during this time period.

DGAA / Accra International - From the 24 March/0100Z through to 24 June/0400Z Runway 03/21 will be closed daily between 0100-0400Z due to WIP.

AFGHANISTAN, UKRAINE, SOMALIA, ETHIOPIA, SUDAN, EGYPT - SINAI PENINSULA, LIBYA

LSZH / Zurich - New Slot Filing Requirement - Effective 30th MARCH 2017
Slots obtained through handler or through OCS system must now be filed in line 18 of flight plan. A slot ID will be issued by the handler in ASL format. Slot must be filed as RMK/ASLLSZHXXXX12345.
LEVC / Valencia - Effective immediately a new mandatory requirement has been introduced for inbound flights. Line 18 of the flight plan MUST contain the name of the nominated ground handling agent.
LEPA / Palma De Mallorca - Currently no Code F aircraft operations permitted at LEPA.
(Code F is: Wingspan 65 m but < 80 m / Outer main gear wheel span 14 m but < 16 m)
This essentially prohibits B747 and A380 operations into LEPA.
No NOTAM exists, information now in AIP. This restriction is expected to last until AT LEAST end of June 2017 but will likely extend.
Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival (affected period 17 - 29 May)
LFMN is expected to reach saturation during the above dates. Slots and handling are mandatory. Slot ID's must be added to flight plans in field 18.
Parking will be at a premium for all visiting aircraft and it is possible that airport authorities will demand quick turns and relocation to other airfields for longer term parking. Alternate parking locations include, LFMD, LFMQ.
Parking, slots, hotels, transport and fuel are all likely to be in high demand and should be requested as early as possible. It is recommended to tanker or fuel on arrival to avoid departure delays.

LFPB / Paris Le Bourget - LFPB will be CLOSED as follows:
Due to pyrotechnic decontamination work on the DUGNY site, Le Bourget will be closed during the night of May 02 to 03, 2017 from 0030 to 0500L.

LFPB / Paris Airshow 2017 – 19 - 25 June 2017
The 2017 Paris airshow will be held at Paris Le Bourget airport 19-25 June. Both individual pilot and separate aircraft accreditation is required for all flights into LFPB during those dates (depending on our movement time). Below is a table (supplied courtesy of Signature Flight Support) showing the airport closure times, the accreditation windows and times when accreditation is not required. Accreditation application window is between 18 April - 12 June. After 12 June, no guarantee is made that accreditation will be accepted. Ground handlers can apply for accreditation on your behalf (be aware there will be a charge for this assistance).
As with all major events, please plan as far ahead as possible. Local transport, hotel accommodation and catering will all be at a premium during the airshow dates.
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
OMDW/Dubai South and OMBD / Dubai International – Introduction of a Security Fee policy
Effective 1st of June 2017, security fee will apply to all General Aviation flights departing from Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC). This fee is per flight, not per passenger and is approximately AED 300 per round movement.
